Heavily subsidised Junior membership
Randwick Cycling runs sessions at our Heffron Park track for junior cyclists on Thursday and Saturday afternoons. Known as the Heffron Park Junior Cycling Academy, the program is open to children aged 6 to 15 years from all Clubs (not just Randwick).
Led by Daniele Vanolini, an experienced, accredited, cycle coach and supported by club members who are volunteers, the focus is on cycling skills, fitness, confidence, and some racing. It’s a fun and safe way for kids to get into cycling. To participate your child must be of an age, skill, and confidence level to ride a complete lap of Heffron Park criterium circuit without assistance.
If you decide to join us we will reimburse 50% of the cost of Junior membership and there is no charge for the Heffron Park Junior Academy program.
(There is a nominal $5 fee per rider per week for non-Randwick members).
For our emerging and promising teens, our Randwick Wings Development Squad fosters younger riders to continue their passion for cycling by providing them with professional coaching, individual and team training, mentoring, and support as they work towards their cycling goals.
